School Projects and Programmes for 2019/20

We have many projects and programmes ongoing in Naul National School. We are currently engaging in Abi Anti Bullying throughout the school.

Mindfulness and positive thinking is taught regularly while Zippy's Friends has been introduced at Infant level.

GAA is encouraged at the school and our couch Carla Rowe teaches the children skills on Wednesdays and Fridays. 

We have received our 5th Green Flag....Biodiversity.

The children participated Laudate which  is a nation wide choral programme and in January.

We are working on the Active Flag and children are encouraged to get out there and fit at school and at home. Trish from Rinka and Mick from FAI take the children for after school activities.

The Blue Star programme is ongoing and the children enjoy getting involved in activities from the European Union. This will be the school's fifth year of the Blue Flag participation.

Older classes are going to the RDS on Monday 2nd March as they are participating in the ESB science Blast.

We have Young Einsteins visiting the school and the younger children will visit Imaginosity.

3rd and 4th classes are involved in a rugby blitz and we have 2 teams taking part in the Fingal football league.

Swimming will take place for 3rd to 6th in the Spring and there will be drama classes in spring.

Ours is a school with a Catholic ethos and a spirit of mutual respect is promoted within the school. It is our endeavour to enhance the self-esteem of all in the school community and to imbue in the pupils a sense of respect and responsibility for themselves, others, the school, the local community and the environment.
