Term 2 is going strong.
Laudate took place on Tuesday 28th in Ballymun and the children had a great time. Well done to Ms Watters and Ms Moore for all their hard work.The older children will also have a chance to participate in Fingal International Festival of Voices in March.
Swimming starts on March 3rd for classes from 3rd to 6th.
The Active Schools initiative is ongoing and the children are engaging in various activities throughout the day and at home through Super Troopers. Thanks to Ms Kelly for her great ideas.
First Confessions will take place on Monday 9th March at 10am.
First Holy Communion will be on May 23rd at 11.30am.
Our new shed has arrived.
3rd and 4th class were involved in a rugby blitz on Thursday February 13th in Balbriggan and had a great time.
Junior infants - 2nd class will go to Imaginosity as part of Engineers on Thursday March 5th. 5th and 6th classes will go to the RDS on Monday 2nd March as they participate in the ESB Science Blast.
Junior Einsteins will visit the older classes .in May.While it is World Book Day on Thursday the 5th March,the children can dress up as their favourite book character on Friday 6th so we can include everyone.Home made costumes are encouraged. Author Rod Smith will visit the older classes while 3rd and 4th class will do a creative writing workshop with
Sinead McDevitt. There are two teams going forward for the Fingal football league so we wish them luck.
We will be having an active and fun Seachtain na Gaeilge from March 9th to 13th.
We are encouraging all children to wear their high vis vests and there will be a prize for the class with most high vis usage. We want to revisit the 'walk to school' initiative which was very successful in recent years.
